Bananas as keyboards? Awesome.

Supermario and Playdough controller? (Courtesy - BBC)
I was trawling through the BBC and came across this wonderful article regarding bananas being used as keyboards. What?! So these MIT students have managed to create touchpads out of everyday objects that are able to conduct electricity. From staircases to cats to plain ol' paper to even clay dough to control supermario! I've put the video for you to check out below.

The testers say that the devices use very low currents and are not detectable by animals or humans, so yay, human drumkits will soon be available in a store near you.

The project has received a great response, acquiring funding of over $440K already. Hope to see this one spread.
